Welcome to Aetherdrift! A dangerous, action-packed racing adventure spanning three magical worlds: Avishkar, the Midnight City (formerly Kaladesh), Amonkhet, the Desert Reborn, and Muraganda, the Primordial World!

The star of this race is Chandra Nalaar, who has her sights set on the grand prize of Aetherdrift: The Aetherspark! This will give Nissa back her Spark, which Chandra would even give her life for. However, the competition is fierce and unfair, with rules being broken, so she'll have to give everything to reach the finish line.

What are Play Boosters?
Play Boosters combine the best of draft and set boosters into one perfect product, suitable for both the player of limited Magic, such as booster drafts and sealed decks, and the avid collector who enjoys opening booster packs.

Previously, you could choose between draft, set, or collector boosters to collect your new cards. Collector boosters remain unchanged and are still the go-to booster for special foils, unique borders, and exclusives. Draft and set boosters have been replaced by play boosters. Play boosters were specifically designed with booster drafts and sealed decks in mind, but ripping boosters also remains exciting down to the last card thanks to the increased chance of showcase cards and rares or mythic rares!

Composition Play Boosterbox
A booster box contains 30 play boosters. Each play booster contains 14 Magic: the Gathering cards from Aetherdrift. The composition of a play booster is as follows:

- 1 to 4 rares or mythic rares.
- 3 to 5 commons.
- 6 to 9 uncommons.
- 1 country map.
- Always one foil card.
- 1 token card.

In a play booster, you always get at least one rare and one foil card. Furthermore, in one in seven boosters, you'll find a mythic rare instead of a rare! In some boosters, the common is replaced by a rare Special Guest card featuring beautiful borderless artwork. Play boosters also contain two wildcard slots, one foil and one non-foil. Cards in the wildcard slot can be of any rarity, from common to mythic rare.

Special guests are unique reprints of powerful cards with brand-new borderless art. Every booster offers a chance to find a special guest card. These reprints are powerful, sought-after cards, or the cards perfectly match the theme of the set they're in.

First Place Box Topper
Every play booster box contains a First Place Box Topper. This small booster consists of two special cards, both featuring the shiny First Place foil layer. The first card in this box topper is always a basic land with 10 different artworks, and the second card is one of the 127 different First Place foil cards!
